Clean TV & Soundbar Mounting
Right bracket, height, and cable routing for smaller living spaces
Making the Most of Your Living Space
Downtown units tend to be smaller and more multi-purpose than a suburban living room. How you mount the TV shapes how the whole room works day to day.
Match Screen Size to the Room
In a compact downtown living room, a screen that's too large overwhelms the wall and forces you to sit too close. We help you match screen size to your actual viewing distance so the picture fills your view comfortably without crowding the room.
Position Around Furniture
We centre the TV on the wall relative to where you actually sit, not just where the wall looks symmetrical. If your sofa is off-centre or your room is narrow, we plan the mount so the screen lines up with your seating.
Plan for Window Glare
Downtown units often have large windows. A tilting or full-motion mount lets you angle the screen away from direct sun reflections at different times of day, instead of being stuck with a fixed glare spot.
Keep Walkways Clear
A wall-mounted TV frees up the floor space a stand would occupy, which matters in a smaller unit. We mount flush enough that the screen doesn't intrude into your walking path or door swing.
Plan Power & Outlet Placement
Where your outlet sits on the wall shapes the whole install. We plan cable routing around your existing outlet so power and signal reach the TV without a visible cord running down the wall.
Fixed vs. Full-Motion
A fixed mount keeps things tight and minimal when your sofa faces the wall straight-on. A full-motion arm earns its space when one screen serves a living area and a kitchen or dining nook — pull it out, angle it, fold it back.
Not Sure Which Mount Fits Your Room?
Send us a photo of the wall and tell us the room size. We'll recommend a bracket and cable plan that works for how you actually use the space.
Planning a TV Installation in a Rental?
A lot of downtown residents rent. Wall mounting is an alteration to the unit, so it's worth a few checks before you book — here's what to sort out first.
Read Your Lease
Check for any clause about wall alterations, nails, screws, or drilling. Some leases permit picture-hook mounting but restrict larger installations; others are silent. Knowing the rule before you book avoids a dispute later.
Get Landlord Approval
If your lease requires it — or if you're unsure — ask your landlord or property manager for written approval before the appointment. A quick email confirming the install and the eventual patch-out keeps everyone aligned.
Understand Restoration
Wall mounting means holes. When you move out you may need to patch and paint, or your landlord may deduct it from your deposit. A single-stud full-motion mount leaves fewer holes than a wide fixed bracket — we can advise on the least-invasive option.
Pick the Right Wall
An interior drywall wall with a stud cavity is the easiest to mount and to restore. Avoid exterior insulated walls or solid concrete demising walls where in-wall cable routing isn't possible and removal is harder to patch.
Plan Cable Routing
If in-wall concealment isn't permitted or possible, paintable surface raceway runs neatly to your outlet and can be removed with minimal patching when you leave. We'll show you both options before we drill.
Ask About Alternatives
If wall mounting isn't allowed at all, a heavy-duty floor stand or a media-console-mounted arm can still get the TV off a low dresser. We can discuss what's realistic for your space and your lease.
We won't tell you drilling is always allowed. Wall mounting means holes in the wall, and your lease or your landlord decides whether that's permitted. We can walk you through exactly what the install involves — and what removal and patching would look like when you move — so you can make that call with your landlord before we pick up a drill.
Preparing for Your Downtown TV Installation
Downtown high-rises have their own access rules. A few details up front keeps the appointment on time and out of the front-desk queue.
Concierge & Trade Sign-In
Many downtown high-rives require trades to sign in at the concierge desk. Send us your building name and any visitor-access instructions (parking, buzzer code, QR pass) so arrival isn't held up at the front desk.
Service Elevator Booking
Larger buildings often require a booked service or freight elevator for equipment and TVs over a certain size. If your building needs a reservation, book a 1–2 hour window for your appointment time.
Loading Dock & Parking
Some towers route all trades through a loading dock with set hours. Let us know if there's a dock, a visitor lot, or paid parking only — we'll plan arrival and any parking cost into the visit.
Outlet & Wall Location
Tell us roughly which wall the TV goes on and where the nearest power outlet is. A photo of the wall and outlet helps us confirm cable routing and bring the right hardware before we arrive.
TV Size & Model
The TV's size and weight determine the mount and anchor system. If you have the model number or box dimensions, include them in your quote so we bring a bracket rated for your screen.
Soundbar & Devices
If you want a soundbar, streaming box, or game console connected, list them in your quote. We plan the cable runs and connections for everything at once so the install is complete in a single visit.
Tell Us About Your Building
Building procedures vary by property. Send us your building name and any access rules you know — we'll plan arrival around them.
TV Mounting for Spaces That Do More
When a living room is also a home office, a dining area, or a bedroom, the mount choice matters more than the screen size.
Living Room + Home Office
When your living room is also your desk, the TV often shares a wall with a monitor. We position the TV so it's comfortable from the sofa without competing with your screen setup, and route cables so both stay clean.
Studio Apartments
In a studio, one screen may need to be seen from the bed, the sofa, and the kitchen. A full-motion arm lets you angle the TV to each spot and fold it flat against the wall when it's not in use.
Dining + Living Combo
Open dining-and-living layouts are common downtown. A tilting or articulating mount lets you push the TV flat for a clean look at dinner and angle it toward the couch for a movie.
Bedrooms With Limited Space
A bedroom TV often sits higher and tilted down toward the bed. We pick a mount and height for how you actually watch in bed, and keep cables off the floor where a nightstand or dresser sits below.

TV, Soundbar & Cables, Tidy
Soundbars & Cable Management Done Right
In a smaller downtown unit, a tangle of cables below the TV is the first thing you notice. We coordinate the TV and soundbar positions, plan around your existing power outlet, and keep visible cables organized or hidden so the wall reads clean.
Soundbar mounted with the TV: hung from a bracket on the bottom of the TV so it moves with a full-motion arm, or fixed to the wall beneath.
Cables planned around your outlet: in-wall routing where the wall allows, or paintable surface raceway where it doesn't.
Devices kept accessible: streaming boxes and game consoles connected and organized so future swaps don't mean re-running cables.
